Wanted to explore Christchurch and this hotel was great place for doing it. Furthermore, they had free WiFi. It's 15 mins walk to the centre. Breakfast here costs nzd 14 per person.
The bed was too soft here.

If you want to eat nearby, try Affogato, which is situated 200 m away. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
